Most of you won't understand this, but you can understand hard work, so hang around for a little story. 4 years ago I joined the #nationalskipatrol to play a bigger role in our sport. I completed the medical training with ease (even receiving an award for my training) and started working with the Patrol. I had a series of back injuries that meant snowboarding was no longer an option for me. So I went back to skiing for the first time since I was 12. The next 3 years I spent in ski and toboggan classes where my skiing was ripped to shreds and built back up again. I haven't faced a lot of adversity in my life (something for which I am very grateful), and so three years of "failing" to become an Alpine patroller was very difficult for me. This year it all clicked! Losing 35 pounds meant I'm skiing better than ever and I couldn't be more happy. So here I am, an Alpine patroller, ready to face the slopes and help out whoever needs it! #nsp #success #mambamentality #proud #hardwork #dedication #skipatrol

Late to the game but had a wonderful #christmas with my family!! Over the years we've molded and figured out how to make this blended family work... And I wouldn't have it any other way!
